This picture is enough to make a grown man (or woman) cry.

It is a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano going up in smoke.

The Sun newspaper ran this amazing snap of the Italian supercar that was reduced to a melted mess.

It reported that dealership delivery driver Martin Bullen was sitting at the traffic lights near Banstead in Surrey when the Ferrari made a strange noise and erupted in flames.

There was little he could do and Martin had the un-enviable task of calling his boss to tell him the $600,000 Ferrari was a write-off, despite the best efforts of local firefighters to save it.

The owner of the car, prestige vehicle dealer Paul Jaconelli, told The Sun that he hoped the Ferrari warranty would cover the incident.

He told the newspaper about the phone call he received from Paul.

“He rang me and said, ‘Your car’s just gone up in flames.”

“At first I hoped he was joking, but I soon realised he was serious,” he told The Sun.
